No pictures to upload tonight?

Naturally, I am uploading a session nightly...but tonight...something sooooo special was in store! I had to post a sneak peek for Meredith and Joie though, but know that you will be the first thing on my mind in the morning! My 30th birthday is tomorrow, and my sweet husband threw a surprise party for me tonight! It was a small intimate party with our immediate family, and was a most unforgettable evening! I was blown away! He is the world's best husband and I cannot thank him enough for this night! I leave tomorrow afternoon for a weekend in ATL headed to the Women of Faith conference...so this was a great way to celebrate before Mom, Courtney and I hit the big town of Atlanta for a girls weekend.

BUT...enough about me, this morning was wonderful and held several sessions in Macon. I was able to do one newborn session, one three month session a fashion show and several candids in between. These precious little ones gave me quite a show! I will upload these sessions before I head out of town, but hope Meredith and Joie can enjoy these this evening! God bless and thank you again for letting me be a part of your day!

Precious little Emily and Lainey...

Yes, this sweet picture shows how adorable these two sisters are...we had such a fun session this morning and I think the girls did a fabulous job posing for the camera. This is my third session with these two angels and, as always, it amazes me how quickly they are growing. Love in Christ, kyle

I adore this age too!!!

It has been an unforgettable day with two amazing sessions. This is Betsy and today we did her 3 month pictures. She has the most beautiful, bright eyes and they really draw me into each of her pictures. We also had a great time getting some family shots, I hope they are just what you wanted Ann and Jason! Thanks again for sharing little Betsy with me! Enjoy your proofs! Love in Christ, kyle

mmm....tiny little babies are my favorite!!!

I wish you could tell from these pictures just how little baby Jackson is... I mean only 4 pounds ago 2 weeks ago...he is probably the tiniest newborn I have photographed yet. He reminded me of my two when they were newborns...I love holding a baby that is as light as a bag of sugar! I really enjoyed this session today...Mindi, Jackson's mommy, let me do just about any pose with her little man. Thank you Mindi and TJ for letting me do his newborn session, I really enjoyed it! Mary Elizabeth is just a growing!!!

Another precious angel today shocked me!!! I cannot believe my sweet Mary Elizabeth is already 9 months old! Her mommy and daddy were some of my very first customers, or should I say guinea pigs! I took her mommy's maternity pictures and still to this day, get compliments on that beautiful pink bow around her mommy's tummy. I love that Mary Elizabeth was so dainty and girly with me today... she enjoyed her time in a tutu and really loved the pearls! I know what Miss Priss needs for her first birthday! I hope you enjoy Jennifer and Marty...thank you again for letting me continue to document these special times for your family! Love in Christ, kyle

Time is starting to fly...

It feels like just yesterday I was photographing Will for his 6 month pictures, and here he is ONE!!! I cannot believe this little guy is growing so quickly. His smile and precious personality are completely contagious...I adore photographing him! The top picture is Will showing his mommy and daddy how old he is...and this bottom one, well who can't say "GOOOOOOO DAWGS!" when you look at it? Thank you Bill and Heather for entertaining me today...God surely blesses you with this little angel! Love in Christ, kyle

An unforgettable wedding this weekend...

I adore this picture of Morgan...as soon as they kissed and she knew she was a married woman, she looked at her guests and gave them a huge thumbs up!!! It was priceless!
This was really sweet...Morgan and Michael were inside one of the barns at Morgan's parents house. It is rustic but so classy...I loved this shot..just before they kissed, it was so evident that these two were made for each other!
This was a shot of Michael when he saw Morgan for the first time...looks pretty awestruck for his bride!
Finally...a shot of the newlyweds... can't you just see how happy they are?
Well, this weekend was extra special. It is always a compliment to be asked to do pictures for someone you know...and this weekend was no exception. But Morgan was a special person in my life growing up. She and her sister Mariharden were very close to me and my sister. It was wonderful to be close to her and watch her blossom into this beautiful woman that she has become. It is also such a blessing to know that her marriage will be filled with so many happy days... I enjoyed watching Michael look at her...it was so obvious that he just adores her, you can see it in his eyes. So to have the opportunity to be a part of this day, and document moments for them, was wonderful! The wedding was held in a beautiful home and was outside on the porch...the weather could not have been more beautiful and the guests all appeared to be on cloud nine along with the couple! Thank you again Revel, Matt, Morgan and Michael for letting Rachel, Shana and I be a part of this glorious day! Love in Christ, Kyle

So much fun!

Today, I had the pleasure of taking the pictures for the upcoming JMA 2008 Homecoming Court. The top and bottom pictures are of the actual seniors that will be competing for Homecoming Queen...and the middle picture includes the freshman, sophomores and juniors as well. Needless to say, these girls all seem to get along great and have a lot of fun together. We were not lacking for ideas for poses either...as you can tell...they had a great time! Have fun next weekend...hope you can all feel like a queen for the day! Love in Christ, kyle

A BEAUTIFUL session!!!!

Yes, this ranks in my top sessions...this baby girl, Kate, was a perfect newborn today! Her sister, Ellie, is also a doll! I enjoyed so much photographing siblings. You just forget how tiny they are and it was fun to hold this six pound bundle of joy. Thank you Kelly for sharing them today... I hope you are pleased with your pictures! Love in Christ, Kyle

Very evident that these two love each other...

Yes, the first weekend of October...we will be in Lake Oconee shooting the wedding for Lauren and Cory. I am always excited about shooting a wedding, but to have an opportunity to meet and get to know the couple beforehand, makes the wedding so much more precious to me. This afternoon, I met Cory and Lauren in downtown Milledgeville to do an engagment session. We had a ball... I have learned that this couple, not only ADORES each other, but are also soooooooo much fun! These few pictures are a glimpse into one fun part of our session...when literally they got into the GC& SU fountain. I can tell their wedding will be one I will never forget! Thanks guys for today...it was an unforgettable session. I cannot wait for your big day...Love in Christ, Kyle

More fun with senior pictures!

I cannot believe the demand I have seen in the last few weeks for senior pictures...it is so wonderful to work with these young adults. This is Lauren and she is a senior at Baldwin High School. Needless to say, she is very photogenic and couldn't take a bad picture if she tried! :-) What a blessing for me, as the photographer, to know that she would have some killer images to look at tonight! Lauren, many blessings towards and amazing senior year! God bless and enjoy this time, it flies by sooooooo fast! Love in Christ, Kyle

I don't usually do this but...

I sent out these random pictures of my little girl, Abbie Kate, a few days ago...and have had several "requests" to add them to the blog. Needless to say... she is frilly, sassy and full of fun at the ripe age of 3!!! I LOVED doing these pictures and I am sure they will always hold a special place in my heart, as this was the first session she actually LOVED having her pictures made! I can tell she has a future with me in this business... what a blessing children are. Hope you enjoy! OH...by the way, this tutu and boa are available to use for your child's sessions too! Another preview for Gracie and Katie...

These two sisters remind me so much of my sister and I growing up...they are frilly but sassy...which I adore!!! Thier precious mama was my nurse as I delivered both of my babies...and to this day is a hero in my eyes for bringing my babies in this world healthy!!! So today was such an honor when she asked me to go with her family to their football game and photograph her girls during the half time show as they cheered. Well...there you go, get two cuties add some cheerleading and a camera, and you have one happy photographer! It was great! I saw so many wonderful friends and customers tonight... it just makes me so thankful to be able to do something to make others happy, the way Anita did for me and my babies a few years back! Love in Christ, kyle

Preview for Hannah Kate's mommy and daddy

Truly an angel today, little Hannah Kate fit these wings and tutu just the way an angel should! I have a long day tomorrow, headed to ATL for my nephew's birthday party...but I couldn't sleep tonight without posting a few previews from some sessions today... Hopefully all proofs will be up tomorrow evening! Love in Christ, kyle

Hank uses my new favorite prop!

Here is Hank, who is now SIX months old!!! I cannot believe he is growing so fast, he came to me for his first session at 4 days old and now he is smiling, sitting up and still loving the camera! Today he got to use my newest prop...a wooden rocking boat. I found this at a consignment sale in Macon last week and couldn't wait to get a little boy in there! Needless to say, after it had been broken in by my two little ones...the boat is finally being used for what it is meant for! Hank had a great time rocking and chewing on the rope. He is such a gorgeous baby and with a wonderful personality...smiling and laughing the entire time. Thank you Ashley and Chris for sharing him once again! Love in Christ, Kyle

another unforgettable session...

As always, I LOVE the governor's mansion....the grounds are beautiful, it just really makes some great scenery for portrait photography. Today, one of my dearest friends, Jamey let me photograph her two little angels. As you can see from these pictures, they are adorable! They are the sweetest, most fun loving little ones...it just makes me smile to think about our time together today. It is kind of like looking a few years in the future, as Jamey and Michael's children are about as close as my little boy and girl. If my children are half as precious as theirs...we are doing something right! Thank you for letting me do this...I hope you love your pictures! Love in Christ, Kyle

A wedding on the beach....

She was taunted and finally gave in to "serving" Chris the cake the old fashioned way!
Minerva was really wanting some beautiful sunset shots...this one took the cake for me!
The most incredible bride...you can see she is glowing on her wedding day!
The couple's first dance, they just looked so happy the entire day... it wasn't just for the camera, this was truly a glimpse into how they are with each other!
Probably one of my favorite shots from the day...love the artsy look and feel of this capture.
Minerva LOVES sepia...so here is one just for you girl! :-)

Simple and elegant...I think those two words describe the mood of every detail of this wedding!
Down to her shoes, she loves white and incorporated a sparkle to each tiny detail... lovely!
And finally, below this was a part of the actual ceremony where Chris and Minerva actually combined the sand from Minerva's home, Costa Rica, to the sand from Chris' home, Panama City and created a beautiful blend of the black and white sand in layers into a bottle. All I can say, is it was obvious that each moment of this day was very well thought out and planned to perfection! So, obviously from the lack of order in the pictures from this beautiful wedding...you realize that I never claimed to be "blog brilliant" but I felt it was more important to get something posted tonight for Minerva's family to view. Chris and Minerva Garner had the most precious ceremony last night on the beach of Panama City. Chris is the captain of a ship named the Hattaboy. This boat is owned locally by some friends of mine, and they invited me to become a part of this special day by recording each precious moment in photographs. Minerva's family is in Costa Rica and was unable to attend, so I was itching to get to editing to have these posted asap for her family's viewing. It was a special night, the ceremony took place at 6:00 on the beach. We were able to take full advantage of the breathtaking sunset immediately after the wedding... I must say, this wedding will always hold a special place in my heart. You can always tell when two people are meant to be together, and that was definitely the case for Chris and Minerva. Thank you Joni and Ted for allowing me to be a part of this unforgettable weekend. What a compliment to meet your precious friends and hopefully share this day in pictures for the Garners! Love in Christ, kyle

And today was Curry's turn...

Yes, it appears that I have had a slow week due to lack of entries...but actually Curry is my 6th, yes SIXTH, senior this week! I am due for a long post about our Labor Day Senior shoots... I have been editing so much in the last few days to get caught up, that I forgot to tell you all about how much fun I have been having with my seniors! Okay, so that post will be next, but for now, let me tell you about Curry. He is from Lincolnton and a senior this year. He is a JOSH GROBAN look alike, if I have ever seen one! I absolutely adored that he brought his guitar with him today, it was an extra special session. I hope you love the pictures Curry...you were a great sport today! Love in Christ, Kyle

Endless opportunities...

I think one of the things that continues to amaze me in this business, are the endless opportunities for a photographer. I guess I never realized just how many times you need one in your life. A few weeks ago, I was contacted about doing some photography up at Reynold's Plantation. You see Charles King, the golf pro, has written a book about "The Red Zone Challenge." He has a theory about using the method in football, the red zone, and applying it to your golf game. This year Sports South picked this up and filmed the actual "challenge" at Reynolds. During the actual filming, they wanted some still shots of the action. So here are a few pictures that were captured Wednesday morning as I witnessed the fun the teams had during the Red Zone Challenge. Love in Christ, Kyle
