Little Miss Eva is having baby brother!

This was my favorite picture from Shana, Jon and Eva's session. This was such a cute moment between Shana and Eva. Eva was showing her mama that she too could poke out her belly! How fun! This precious family will be welcoming a baby boy in several weeks. They have so much to look forward too! Love in Christ, Kyle

My sweet nephew Kip

So this is my precious nephew Kip....he is now 18 months old. I was so excited when my sister, Courtney let me take his pictures. He is such a beautiful baby to me, and so lively. I enjoyed each moment of this precious session. One thing that happened with Kip that had never happened before was his fear of my studio lighting. Each time my umbrella flashed with my camera, he was terrified! It broke my heart....but he finally got used to it and had a great time! I hope you will check out his pictures! Love in Christ, Kyle

More cousins to photograph!

So today I had the time of my life with Ruby, Will and Baby Addison. These children are first cousins and gave me some wonderful entertainment! I am really excited about the pictures and especially in love with our visit to the Governor's Mansion. You see, Will and Ruby thought that the door had a magic handle...so they had quite a time pretending with this magic handle. It is very special actually, I believe it is solid sterling silver. Pretty cool looking in the pictures! Since we had two families today to take pictures of, I went a little overboard on my blog pictures to share. I think these families are extra blessed to have these little angels in their lives. I tried to pick pictures that showed you just how precious they are. I know in one picture Will is helping Ruby to climb a tree and in another picture Ruby is offering Will some change to throw into a fountain...these children are such precious siblings! But don't let me forget to brag on precious little Addison...this baby was so content and happy during the entire session! Most little ones expire so quickly, but not this little girl. We actually did her session last, and she was still smiling! So kudos to these parents...you are very blessed to have such sweet little ones!

Not only sweet...but very smart!!!

What a precious time I had today with Raines. He turned one a few months ago and we finally were able to get together to take some pictures. Now, I know I brag on the little angels that I photograph...and not only was this one sweet as ever, he is BRILLIANT!!! He does things that my 2 year old doesn't do! I am amazed! Christi and Todd are such excellent parents and you can tell when you are around their family that little Raines is their little star! I hope you enjoy these preview pics...lots of cuties in his portfolio...check it out! Love in Christ, Kyle

Cousins are so much fun!

These children were amazing! I guess anyone that reads my blog knows that it is easy to brag on the wonderfully behaved angels that walk through my door...but 4!!!! You have to believe me there was not a fussy cry the entire time! I am just amazed...it definitely shows that these parents know what they are doing and when it was over...the two that could talk, came up hugged me and said "Thank you!" Anyone that knows me, knows just how much I adore manners...so needless to say...my heart has grown a little bit more today for these sweet babies. Thank you Amber for sharing your neice and nephews with me for a little while today...

Learning some new tricks...

So, I feel like in order to offer new products to you, my customers...I have to constantly learn about how to incorporate new ways of making your photos look amazing. One thing I have really wanted to learn about is how to apply a texture to an image. Well, I think I finally got it today! I bet you are thinking that I am a slow learner...but, this Photoshop CS3 is a really tough tool to get to know. Luckily, I have some amazing photographers that are well versed on this program and continue to reach out and help me to better my images. I hope you will enjoy seeing some of these new looks in my proofing portfolios. For now, here are a few I worked on tonight. I am excited about this new option. I think it adds a little "art" to the work to make it catch your eye a little more! Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed Easter weekend. I know my little ones are very excited about the upcoming events this weekend! Love in Christ, Kyle

How much fun can a 6 month old be?

Well, if it is precious Will Kennedy, you are in for a good time! This little man was such a joy to be around. He never even came close to wimpering during the entire session! He was happy regardless of how we moved him around, changed his clothes or locations! I know I am very blessed to have such an amazing job, but to be around precious families like this is an added bonus! Check out his proofs...we got tons of cuties! Hope you enjoy! A special place for this little angel to rest...

So it means a lot that a friend of mine, David Jackson, who owns the Savior Touch is displaying a picture that I took of precious little Emma in her angel wings. I love the store-The Savior's Touch- it truly has a gift for every person on my list for every occasion! It means so much to me to have my work displayed in this store, where I know that others shopping here love the Lord like I do! Please go by and visit David and his crew and check out the amazing gifts they have for this Easter season. Have a blessed weekend! Love in Christ, Kyle

An opportunity to give back...

So there are hopefully several things lined up in the next year that I am able to volunteer my time and use the opportunity to give back to the community. This upcoming first charity is Relay for Life. Nancy Mills has graciously allowed me to be their official photographer for 2008. I have personally been touch by cancer as I have watched friends and loved ones battle this disease. It is such a wonderful cause to be a part of...I have already been introduced to some wonderful people...
Today was my first "shooting" experience as the Teams gathered at the Milledgeville Mall for some fundraising. I look forward to the next few weeks and all the events that are to come. I have a new tab under "portfolio" called "giving back..." you will find some pictures here. I hope you can come out and join us in support the search for a cure for cancer!

Four days old!!!

This is by far the youngest client to date! Little Hank was born on Monday and he came to visit today to capture these first few days. His parents were amazing and so relaxed for this being their first week of parenthood. Hank was so sweet and content and also very alert for such a young baby. These two pictures were some of my favorite from his session....very dramatic and I LOVE that! I hope you can check out his proofs and let me know what you think!

I cannot tell you what a blessing this was... I enjoy newborns so much and today was twice the fun! I hope you enjoy! Love in Christ, Kyle

Adeline is 1!

What a wonderful opportunity to meet Megan and her precious family! We had such a great time with Adeline. She just recently celebrated her first birthday and she showed us how fun it is to be 1! This little angel is so beautiful and makes my job so fun and easy! I hope you can check out her proofs and see for yourself! Love in Christ, Kyle

Little Miss Priss Maddie Grace....

So this is Maddie Grace...she is 8 months old now and what a ball we had this afternoon! This was my first session with Miss Priss and she showed me what little girls like! Apparently feather boas, tutus, fancy bracelets and pearls are what make her happy. I love that she already knows what we women want! I enjoyed meeting her and her precious parents...this was an extra fun session! Check out her proofs and see all of her precious tricks! Love in Christ, Kyle

Sneak Peek for Kristen and Will's Wedding....

Okay...so this was how our Saturday was spent.... we were fortunate enough to photograph Kristen Lee and Will Harvey's wedding in South Georgia. Kristen has been the most thorough bride and it was a pleasure to be a part of their day! It was evident by the people lining the walls of the church and the full stairwell to the balcony that these two individuals are extremely loved! Courtney, Rachel and I arrived in Alma at 8:30 AM and left last night at 11:30. Needless to say, we were exhausted, but were thrilled to be the ones that captured this special day from beginning to end. I have barely looked through the thousands of pictures, but wanted to edit just a few so that you can see what an amazing day it was. I hope these will show you how beautiful the ceremony was and how precious these newlyweds are! The pictures will take a few weeks to be posted...but for those of you that are checking...hopefully these will give you a sneak peek into what is to come! Thank you again Lee and Harvey families! We feel super blessed to have been a part of this magical day! Love in Christ, Kyle

I adore this shot of Will and Kristen as they snuggled right before they said "I do!"

This was a great shot of Kristen and Will just a few hours before their wedding.

The picture above was one of Kristen's favorite's that she had found for us to do of her rings and invitation. I sure hope she likes it...I think it is pretty cool! She had some great ideas!

Lastly, this was Kristen and Will as they left their first reception. I just loved this old MG....it was so much fun and the red was awesome! Hopefully you can enjoy these few pictures until the other are posted!

Briley...only 5 days old!

This is precious Briley. She came to visit me this afternoon and what a wonderful visit it was! I have forgotten how tiny newborns are... she is only 5 days old and just so brand new! Christi and Tyler are the most amazing first time parents...they are so relaxed and I can tell they are going to enjoy each moment of this precious angel's life! They also brought Briley's grandmother, "Mimi" she was so excited, we had to take a few shots with her as well! I hope you will enjoy these proofs... I sure enjoyed taking these pictures and editing them!

Easter Bunny Shoots from this weekend...

These are the Hand Girls and they just smile so sweetly for the camera...I just thought this looked like a precious shot that encompasses just how sweet they are! Do they look familiar? They are the two girls on the flash site at the beginning of my website holding hands...they are still as precious as the last time I photographed them!
This was our little visitor on the banks of the pond at Wesleyan. We thought he was a water snake because we just got a quick glimpse...but with a closer look...this picture reveals some major rattles on the end of his tail...yep it was a 3.5 foot RATTLESNAKE!!!! Needless to say, we were watching where we stepped after this sighting!
These are the Pressley children...just adorable! I loved this shot because the sister was offering a smell of the beautiful flowers from Lockerly's grounds. I know this makes their parents very happy!
Madi and Lawrence Green are just too much fun! This picture was taken as they were dancing together for fun...I feel like God has placed the most incredible parents around me to show me just how amazing parenthood is! The Green family definitely did this for me.... And lastly, below this is Raines. He is so amazing...he is just quiet and reserved...but adore our bunnies! Here he is taking a moment figuring out the Easter egg...I just love this shot!
Okay, so this was a wonderful weekend....one that has been in the making for months. Finally, our Easter shoots arrived! I had a full day in Milledgeville at Lockerly where 8 different families came and enjoyed the beautiful flowers and two precious bunny rabbits. Then on Sunday in Macon, I had 10 families join me at Wesleyan College for their turn with the bunnies. It was perfect! The weather was amazing and the children were on their best behavior! I am not sure who was the most tired at the end of the day...the bunnies or me! But, all in all....18 mini sessions produced lot of fun pictures! I hope you can take a moment...or hour or two to enjoy the proofs. I am so thankful to all who participated and look forward to next years bunny pictures again! Love in Christ, Kyle
