Aren't little girls so sweet?

This Sunday afternoon I was blessed to meet with this little angel. She was so much fun and make me really work for some smiles :-)...that's okay, I like staying on my toes! What really made her smile? At the end of the session, my two little ones came home and they were just the right touch! It was amazing the instant connection that little ones have. I wished they had been there the entire time...but when I started editing...I realized she did just fine without them! Enjoy Kristi and Kevin! Love in Christ, kyle

mmm...there is nothing like a newborn!

Baby Bennett is just 8 days old and he was an absolute DREAM today for his pictures! As usual, I love hats on little ones, especially with bare skin...so this one was one of my favorites from the session. I had so much fun with Bennett, his two brothers, one sister and two cousins...we had a full house! Can't wait to get your pictures posted Nikki! Love in Christ, kyle

In lieu of pictures...I have a few sneak peeks!

Anyone that knows me KNOWS how I hate to have "unfinished business..." Well, I am going to have two shoots that will be unfinished, at least for tonight. I had an amazing day, THREE shoots and it was GRAND!!! It is such a blessing to take pictures, I just love it. I am looking forward to some great family time and shopping in the coming days, but will be back to work on Saturday. For tonight, I wanted to give the Bragg and Schroll families a sneak peek behind their amazing little models! They all did such a wonderful job today, that it is a joy to look over them tonight! It is always hard to pick favorites...but these are a few of mine today.

Sweet little Drew (baby boy) had been photographed for ONE solid hour before this amazing shot with his sister...for 3 months old, he was great at tolerating me! Abi, as usual, is a natural! These two angels make me smile each time I think of them!

As for Emma Kate and Anna Claire, these two sisters grabbed my heart with their "sisterly love." It was enough to melt you as you watch them hold hands, comfort each other and smile. God is soooo good...I cannot say that enough! God bless all of your families and have a BLESSED thanksgiving!!!!

Session #1 today...sweet Graison...

Doesn't she look like an angel? Well, she is! Graison was so sweet and full of fun energy this morning that she led to some fun Christmas shots. It was hard to catch her still...but I got a few shots as she watched her mommy get something out of the car. I really loved this one, so sweet and innocent! Thank you Frank and Stephanie for letting me capture Graison at this age. I hope you enjoy your proofs! Love in Christ, kyle

A little ball of energy...

What a great session I had this morning with Cade. He is 3 and has the most amazing energy ever! I loved watching him jump like a frog, play the piano and ride a truck. No doubt, it was great for picture taking! Thank you Lesley for letting me photograph your little angel this morning. I really enjoyed it and look forward to our session in a few weeks with the entire family! Love in Christ, kyle

call me "miss forgetful"...

Why you ask? Oh because this precious family waited for me as I has marked them on my calender for Tuesday afternoon...and yet, our appointment was on SUNDAY! All I can say, is Thank you Jesus for answering my prayers! As I headed to the Governor's Mansion to begin the shoot at 5...(just as the sun goes down) the lighting was my main concern. I am so thankful to have an amazing camera and some great settings, that led to some fun family pictures. I think I might start shooting later, thanks to these amazing pictures. Trust me, I get nervous in new situations...and tonight was just that. Goes to show you that prayer works! Enjoy your pictures Washburn family, you were ALL amazing!!! Love in Christ, (your forgetful photographer) Kyle

New lens...new poses!

I have tried this pose on several families lately, and today it worked! I am so excited about my new 50 mm lens, that I just wanted to get one of these for fun...and look at those smiles! I had an amazing time with the Belflower family today. Sometimes I have to pinch myself and remind myself that all of the fun is really a job! It is families like this that make me love each second of what I do! Matt and Keri, I hope you enjoy your proofs! Love in Christ, kyle

A blessing to witness...

This is such an amazing picture to me. I love the part of my job that allows me to witness amazing parenting. Dianne and Mark are just that. They have three little angels and we had a lot of fun at our shoot this morning. So many times, having your family's pictures made can be stressful (at least for me it is) but this family was so relaxed and easy going. It really helped to create some absolutely gorgeous pics. I hope yall enjoy the proofs, I know I LOVED my time with you on your farm! Love in Christ, kyle

Just a little sneak peek...

For Harris' mommy and daddy tonight... I absolutely cannot stand to not get pictures uploaded right away, but tonight I had a meeting and I am getting started a little late. I had such a blessed session with little Harris this afternoon. He is such a handsome little man...just when I thought he was getting serious with me, he would throw out his huge dimples and give me an amazing smile! I thought this picture was precious though. He did get a little tired at one point and started sucking his thumb. I just think there is nothing cuter than a thumb sucking little one! So, for tonight...enjoy this image of Harris a little sleepy! Thank you Ruth for sharing your newest angel with me today! I hope you will enjoy the proofs from this session! Love in Christ, kyle

Ice princesses....

I must say...the weather has taken a turn for the worst, it is freezing!!! I believe it is about time for some studio pictures to make a strong return... today was proof of that! I loved photographing Savannah, Sydney and Sienna today...but we decided pretty quickly that inside was the way to go. Their mama really dressed them like little models and they are amazing little ladies! I enjoyed this session so much. It was fun at the end as my little one, Canon, and Sienna, the youngest angel, were able to laugh and have a bit of fun. This job is so much fun!!! Bill and Jodi, I hope you enjoy the proofs, you will find them under "mistletoe kisses!" Love in Christ, kyle

Macon Mistletoe Kisses...take two!

Another beautiful day at Clearwater Plantation, and 6 more of my Macon families had a Christmas mini session today. The weather couldn't have been more perfect and the children had been bribed well...they were ALL amazing! I felt like God made today so perfect for some reason...it is such a blessing to take pictures of such precious little ones...thank you all for your participation! I hope you enjoy your proofs! Love in Christ, kyle

You got it...little Miss Ava Kate is 8 months old...and this picture says it all! She is a little princess for sure! We had a fun session yesterday and caught Ava Kate in her fun stage of laughing, smiling and crawling everywhere! I am so excited to post the pictures...she is one precious little angel! Enjoy! Isn't he amazing?

I went to visit my friend Paul Wendl today in Atlanta for him to photograph my two little ones. I loved sitting back and letting him do it...as they feel and feed off of my frustrations when I photograph my own children. It was great! I wanted to post a few of the pics he did today. He is gracious to let me have them to feed my editing obsession...so here are a couple for tonight. I know I am partial, but I just think they are the most precious faces I have ever laid my eyes on!
Thank you Paul again for all of your hard work today, and your help and guidance through my first year of photography. I wouldn't be where I am without you!

A busy, yet beautiful Saturday!

Today I had two amazing shoots...the first I am excited to share with you and the second...well, it is a Christmas present so I cannot disclose any pictures, but I will say it was GREAT!!!! Okay, back to session #1...The Webster Family, dear friends and family to me! We had so many wonderful places to choose from as this session was held on the Webster's farm in Sparta. The leaves changing make for a glorious backround! The children were exceptionally great today and we accomplished everything on Katie's list plus a few! I am excited to work on these pictures tomorrow...as for tonight, my children and I visited Santa Mark at Christmas in the South in Macon today, and I am going to sit back and relax on this Sunday evening. Tomorrow...I am excited to take my family to our photographer, and my mentor, Paul Wendl in Atlanta. Please check out his amazing work at www.paulwendl.com. His talents never cease to amaze me! I cannot wait to post a few pictures from our session! Hopefully by tomorrow evening I will be all caught up with the proofing and several new sessions will be added! Love in Christ, Kyle

And...a few sneak peeks from the sessions today!

Today's weather...I LOVED it...I just wish you could bottle this chill in the air...the leaves turning such beautiful fall colors...it just puts you in a good mood! Today I had the opportunity to do two sessions...my first was the Wright Family. Again, as mentioned in the earlier blog...it is a huge compliment when someone you know asks you to do photography for their family. This family is so very precious and dear to my heart...as they have been friends of my family for years. We have all grown up in church together...it is such a blessing to witness them all as parents now and amazing ones at that! Amy and Joe...please know that this was a big deal to me today...I hope you will enjoy these pictures for years to come!

Later this afternoon, I met up with Jill and Ben. They are getting married in North Georgia next September...so I did their engagment session today. They are a beautiful couple and we had a great time together. I cannot wait for their wedding...I just know it will be unforgettable! This picture of Jill and Ben was kind of an experiment, but successful in my eyes! After all of the pictures were done, we were walking back to our cars and I asked them to think of one word that reminds them of each other...so they wrote it on their hands and showed me, without seeing each other's words. I loved this...their descriptions of each other were priceless! Thanks Ben and Jill and I cannot wait to capture your amazing wedding day! Love in Christ, kyle

I hate being a day behind!

But...I am! So here is my late post from my two sessions yesterday afternoon/evening. First of all, I was so excited about photographing some of my neighbors...the Kobbe family. It is always the biggest compliment when someone you know asks you to do their pictures. I enjoyed this session so much...the entertainment was endless...if you knew this family, you would understand what I am saying! The picture I chose from this session is this precious picture of Kinsey and Anna holding hands. My sister and I were about as close in age as these two...so watching them interact brought back a ton of memories! Thank you Eric and Candi for allowing me to spend some time with your family!

My second session yesterday was with precious Braden and Ella. We had a ball...these two were loving having their pictures made! Braden, especially, has a future in modeling if he wants it! I LOVED his participation and endless energy! Thank you so much Cristen for sharing them with me...it was an unforgettable session! Enjoy the proofs!

How could you not love this photo?

After all, little Anna Burns is after my heart! Here she is showing us something she wanted to do during the session this afternoon...check out her mommy's checkbook! It was hilarious...she would pose, check out the picture on my camera, then go find a prize in her mommy's pocket book. The checkbook was her favorite, I think! What can I say, we are so much alike! This was a great session and I adored meeting Anna Burns. I think she would have come with me if her parents didn't mind... and that's when I know we have had a successful shoot!

Sweet little brothers...

It was another beautiful day at the Governor's Mansion and today I was able to photograph Rhett and Jack Lane for the first time. It was wonderful! These two little boys were so much fun and full of energy...it was such a pleasure to get some fun candid shots of them interacting. I really loved this picture, because as posed as it looked...sweet little Jack was just looking up to Rhett. As a mother, this one warmed my heart and I wanted to share this from our session today! Kristen, I hope you enjoy the proofs! Love in Christ, kyle

Another year has passed...

Last year...above, and then now this year, below

So hard to imagine that little Caroline came to see me at 5 weeks old and now, here she visited me today, her first birthday! It meant so much to me that Matt and Rachel drove here from Atlanta to have her pictures made today. Caroline is just as beautiful as the last time I saw her...gorgeous dark hair and amazing blue eyes! We had so much fun, and I hope that shows in the pictures! Enjoy the proofs! Love in Christ, kyle

Sneak Peek for the Hall family...

What a beautiful day it was for an outdoor session at the Governor's Mansion. This family really entertained me during our shoot. The fall colors are so beautiful to photograph, but I adored these little girls! They are so much fun and full of energy...they kept me moving! Thank you Katie and Ben for allowing me to capture your family...it was an unforgettable session for me! I hope you enjoy the proofs!

My first delivery...she is now 6 months old!

One of the things that continually blows me away in this business, is that in a blink of an eye, my newborns are 6 months old...then a year! It seems as if they come every other week, and I just cannot believe how quickly they are changing! Sweet Bella is 6 months old and was nothing but smiles yesterday afternoon. I adored the fact that her precious mommy brought her Christening gown for her to be photographed in. I am so excited to help capture Bella in her gown at this precious and absolutely unforgettable age! Thank you again Jodi and Brad for continuing to allow me to capture your children as they grow. It is such a huge compliment to me! Enjoy your proofs! Love in Christ, kyle

Spring weddings are kicking into gear early!

That's right, Jenna and Collier will be married in early March and today we had an amazing morning together at the Governor's Mansion and front campus for their engagment session. I had so much fun and look forward to their big event so much. I loved this picture above so much...I love that it is a little dark with a little bit of light on their faces. It is such a treat to do photography for Jenna as she was one of my precious friends from my GMC days! I hope yall enjoy the proofs! Love in Christ, kyle
