Mandy's baby shower...

I gotta say, this top picture takes the cake. I believe there are 3 generations of hands on little Joely Ann. This family is so excited about welcoming a little girl. I understand this will be the first in a number of years! It was a lovely shower at Tara's Tea Thyme today where Mandy visited with friends and family and chatted about her upcoming arrival. She is just glowing...what a beautiful pregnant woman she is. Please keep her in your prayers, as little miss Joely Ann is getting her mama to contract a little and has rested Mandy in bed for a bit. Three sweet little angels...

I met with Maggie, Madeline and Hannah this morning and these three little angels made some beautiful pictures.... You would think just three little ones would be difficult to get a good shot of them all smiling... well, due to their good natures, they smiled the entire time! Thank you Meegan and Julie for sharing...I am glad your mother in law won this session from Junior League's Tour of Homes...because it was a wonderful experience for me! Sneak Peek for Bella's family...

No doubt this little angel likes the finer things in life...she was extremely calm when sunbathing on the beanbag near the window and cooed her heart out when she was surrounded by a pink feather boa and tulle....needless to say, I think it wouldn't be a stretch to think this little one might be a little high maintenance in the years to come! That's okay, because from what I witnessed a few weeks ago at her birth and today...they entire family is wrapped around her little finger! More new things to do!!!

So it appears as a photographer, your opportunities are endless! Kristen came to me today to do some shots of her dance costume for this year's recital and also some cheerleading shots. It was so fun because she is cheering at GMC, where I cheered about 11 years ago...and boy have the uniforms changed! I am so glad to see that they look so flattering and there is not a lot of extra material and pleats like we used to have! Kristen is such a doll...thank you again for letting me photograph you!!! Emily and Evan's wedding

I was not the photographer for this beautiful wedding, but you know I had to whip out the camera anyway! This is Emily and her new hubby Evan. Emily and her family went to the beach with my family for 22 years and we had a great reunion this past weekend at her wedding in Florence. The children are now the products of three of us girls and now we need a few from Emily and Evan! They are relaxing in Italy now for 8 days... and we had an amazing time and lots of fun memories! First birthdays are so special!

Baby "B" will be here is just a few weeks!

So I know that if you want your maternity pics password protected...that it is probably not a good idea to show the full silouettes on the blog! I thought these two were tasteful and not too revealing...I hope you do not mind Cheran! Courtney and Paul's engagement!

What a blessing it is to see one of your best friends become engaged to your brother-in-law! I mean, I couldn't have picked a sweeter sis-in-law! This is Courtney, as many of you already know, she is also a very active photographer with the company and she has been dating my brother-in-law for a year now. Well, this week at Rosemary Beach, he popped the question! It was precious that he let me be a part of their engagement moment as they watched the sun rise on the beach on Monday morning. I am just so thrilled for both Paul and Courtney as they are the most precious people and deserve each other so much! All of their friends and families are thrilled that they have found each other and plan to be together forever! My first senior session today...

There are no words to describe...

What an honor it was to receive the phone call several days ago and Melissa from the Union Recorder told me we, our business, had been voted as "Best Photographer in Milledgeville" for the readers choice award. Honestly, I laughed and didn't understand just how...with the talent in photography in this town, anyone had voted this business the best. With it being the BIGGEST compliment yet, I am thanking those of you who took the time to fill out the ballot and write in our name. In beginning our 8th month of business, I am humbled at the families that continue to walk in the studio and allow us to photograph them and become a part of their families. It is a blessing and an honor all in one. The Lord continues to open up the most amazing doors for this business and I believe (here I go again) that it is his journey, not mine, or ours...but his. So, to thank you all, I will be giving out free 5 x 7's to the next 15 appointments that walk through my door. Or if you tell me you voted for us...you get one too! I just wanted to thank you all for continuing to support this journey. I feel like prayer and faith have gotten us this far and I just hope we can continue to learn and grow as photographers so that we will continue to rock your photos! Safe in her daddy's hands...

So I am a little stuck on the "daddy theme" with Father's Day coming up...but this was such a sweet moment between Will and his new baby Lillie. She is so tiny and precious and adores her parents so much... it is so sweet to see this new family working together and already enjoying each moment. Sadie Caroline turns one!

She had an amazing birthday party on Sunday and by the end (bottom picture) the princess was worn slap out! She had found her Daddy's shoulder and decided to take a small rest. What a beautiful day for a birthday party...Sadie was blessed with gorgeous weather and her precious family surrounding her to celebrate. There are several occasions that feel especially "sweet" to be a part of and being asked to do photography of a first birthday party, is to me, just as important as a wedding...a priceless day and event that cannot be replaced!
