Baby Parker doing "artsy"

I love photographing Parker a week or so ago...but he expired on us a little too quickly. So today he came back for his "artsy" session. It was so much fun! I really love this image of his tiny toes...he was such a wiggle worm and it was hilarious trying to get a picture of his toes as he kicked and kicked and kicked! But it was worth it! Amazing what can change in a year!

This afternoon I had a session with Jase and Cope Smith. They were soooooo good...I mean if I could bring a prize for every successful bribing parents these days...truly, it works! Every child I have had the opportunity to shoot lately has been a DREAM!!! I bet there are not many photographers that can say that! Well, it has been right at a year since I last photographed Jase and Cope... and it was amazing! I couldn't help but have the boys reenact a few of my favs from last year...so I thought I would pull up a comparison. Amazing newborn session today with Eli...

He was such a good baby, and I just adore the fact that at just a few weeks old, he is photogenic! Seriously, I almost edited every picture from his session because he did such an amazing job...along with his beautiful mommy and big brother. I am just so excited about meeting little Eli and photographing he and his big brother Mason for the first time today. No doubt Trevor could be a model!

This kid is absolutely amazing! He is photogenic and extremely willing to do anything to get a great picture. I LOVED listening to how his mama had him photographed heavily as a baby and child and now, he doesn't mind it one bit! I can only pray my children will be the same way! He even came up with some great poses and ideas...I also adored his hat, it added such character to the pictures. We had a great time! I hope you enjoy the proofs! Love in Christ, kyle

The second set of mistletoe kisses from yesterday...

Anna and Kevin were such an amazing couple to photograph yesterday on front campus. They have been dating for 2 years and reminded me so much of my husband and I when we were dating in college. Anna is trying to get together their Christmas cards...much like I used to do! They are just the sweetest couple and it is obvious they have a bright future together! I hope yall enjoy the proofs! But tonight, I am going to showcase the Simpson Family. Lee, Lindsey and Landry were so much fun to photograph today at the Governor's Mansion. They were so amazing to me! Little Miss Bowen

What an amazing session with the Yarborough family this afternoon. This precious little girl is Bowen. She is 20 months and what a precious angel she is! Her talented mommy owns www.frillyfrances.com and makes the most AMAZING tutus ever! I was so excited to finally meet her. John, Bowen's Daddy was also amazing with his little girl. Needless to say, I enjoyed this session so much! After the family finished with me, they were going to eat at Chops... my FAVORITE place ever! So I am a little envious of the yummy food they had tonight, but know that they enjoyed a special night with family! I hope yall enjoy the proofs! Love in Christ, kyle

Thinking about our sweet Miss Lindsey...

This afternoon, I finally will meet and photograph the famous Lindsey from Alabama. She is the most amazing tutu maker EVER! She and I have been talking for several months now and in honor of her 5:00 session today at the Governor's Mansion..Abbie Kate, Addison and Mary Elizabeth decided to show her just how much they love and enjoy feeling "fancy." Kisses but no chocolate kisses with that beautiful dress on!

As you can see Mary Elizabeth was not able to enjoy the actual chocolate kisses from Miss Kyle today, but she got lots of sugar from me instead! That beautiful strasburg dress was silk and we couldn't get chocolate within a 5 mile radius! She did an amazing job...so hard to believe that she will be one in just a few weeks! Poor Joy and Jason, they left their "mistletoe kisses" session this morning with a hyped up almost 2 year old! Sweet Addison had about 6 hershey kisses during her session...what can I say, it kept her smiling? That is the goal, right? Who is feeling like a diva today?

Miss Joely Ann is! She absolutely adored her moments in 2, yes 2, tutu's, a boa, lying on tulle and a set of pearls around her neck. I mean this girl LOVES to feel like a diva! I adore these pictures...and wish I had done this with my little girl as she grew...but luckily, I can relive it with other people's children! This session was for the Hilliard children. I just adore Ruby and Will! They are so photogenic and I LOVED the outfits their mommy brought for them to wear! It truly got me into the Christmas spirit! Who needs mistletoe when you have lots of kisses?

You got it...three days so far, 11 shoots...man it has been busy! But I have had the most AMAZING kids to photograph! Literally, the parents were sent a reminder and I reminded them to BRIBE LIKE CRAZY and it has been GREAT!!! The bribing has been brought to new levels...but well worth it, to get pictures like this! Time for Mistletoe Kisses!!!

Yes, this afternoon marked my first session for Christmas Cards and the weather was perfect! I must say that I am so thankful to my customers who are allowing this to happen so early in the holiday season. I cringe as I see the grass not as green as usual...and I hate the thought of the grass turning that lovely yellow...so thankfully, the grass will still be green for these pictures! I have a long day ahead of me in Macon tomorrow and I cannot wait! I am editing Betsy's session from today and wanted to offer a little peak. Profiles...

This to me, is such a sweet picture for a new baby's parents. I always love to see the profiles of my little ones. This one is so sweet as Parker was so quiet and content that his profile shot turned out flawless! Thank you Holle's for allowing me to photograph little Parker. Loving sweet Zaiya...

My first session with Zaiya and her precious parents today led to an amazing Sunday afternoon! I wanted to post a sneak peek for Rondell and Zina tonight and let them know how much fun I had today with their sweet angel. It was an honor as usual, to do pictures of a one year old... but Miss Zaiya was an exception...she seemed to really like having her pictures made. That makes my job so much fun! Warming up for this holiday season...

The weather was a little unusual this morning as the skies were beautiful and blue, a few clouds...but surely enough in the middle of this session...it started raining! As we hid under a HUGE tree on the green lawn of the Governor's Mansion...Peyton and Lucas snuggled up and gave me this beautiful shot in their Christmas attire. I love this sweet embrace by a big sister and the little brother just eating it up! Thank you Mandy and Jason for another unforgettable session. Honored....

I think that is the only way to describe my session today. This beautiful family that I photographed today is the Stubbs family. They are so much fun to hang out with, oh yeah...and photograph! But the honored part comes into play with this beautiful young woman. This is Anna, and she has an extensive medical history that I will not go into on the blog...but needless to say, this 16 year old has seen more than most of us will in a lifetime of hospitals and doctors. She is a pistol though...and has an excellent eye for modeling. She has studied some of the top model shows and literally could step right into one and be right at home! Happy Birthday Cameron!

Can you believe this littel angel is 1? I cannot... it seems like yesterday he was born...and yet, here he is...growing up so quickly! All I can say, is look at those eyes!!!! I must have said 5,000 times this morning, "Cathy (his mommy), his eyes are AMAZING!!!" I had a ball editing these pictures, literally his eyes look beautiful in everyone! Sneak Peek for the Sappe Family

What an amazing session we had this late afternoon with Gannon, Griffin, Bryan and Carla at the Governor's mansion. It was great...the children seemed to LOVE the outdoors! I haven't finished my editing yet tonight, but did want to share a quick sneak peek from today. This was a precious moment when we were trying to get a great family shot...Gannon leaned over and loved on his little brother. As a mama, this one just melts my heart! It's beginning to feel alot like Christmas...

Well for the portrait photography world it is! Sweet Ellie is 6 months old now and her mommy brought this beautiful red dress to capture for her first Christmas pictures. As we searched the "prop closet" we found this ornament I had bought. It couldn't have made her session more priceless.
